Pension Administrator Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Pension Administrator to join our team at Ashe Consulting. As a Pension Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of a number of DB and DC pension schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manual calculation and payment of benefits
  • Production of reports
  • Efficient handling of correspondence, e-mail, and telephone enquiries from scheme members and third-party institutions
  • Assisting with scheme renewal queries and issuing of benefit statements as required
  • Performing calculations and communication of pension increases
  • Undertaking general checking and peer review responsibilities for less experienced team members

Requirements:

  • Proven knowledge of DB and DC pension arrangements
  • Awareness of service standards and statutory disclosure requirements
  • Experience of using Profund oPen administration platform
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • At least 2 years recent experience in occupational pension schemes, preferably from a consulting/TPA background
