About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Project Manager to join our team at the Pension Protection Fund. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of pension schemes within the PPF legislative framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of pension schemes, ensuring compliance with the PPF legislative framework.
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve technical or legal issues, ensuring smooth progress of schemes transferring into the PPF or successful buyouts.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including trustees, actuaries, and scheme administrators, to deliver projects in line with agreed plans and budgets.
Requirements
  • Experience working within the pensions industry, preferably in windups and/or buyouts.
  • Relevant pension qualification advantageous.
  • Strong project management skills, with ability to manage projects within time and budget.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to interpret complex technical issues for both technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Ability to influence a variety of stakeholders.
