We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our team at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Radiographer, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating radiographic activities and staff within the designated area of responsibility.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure the safe and accurate operation of complex radiotherapy and imaging equipment.
- Undertake and evaluate radiation dose delivery and complex calculations involving a range of radiation types and energies.
- Interpret, monitor, and evaluate treatment prescriptions to ensure accurate and reproducible radiotherapy delivery.
- Lead and coordinate a team of staff operating radiotherapy equipment, making assessments and key decisions regarding workload management, patient care, and treatment.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, and be a good role model.

Requirements- Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience working with advanced radiotherapy techniques and technology, including VMAT, IMRT, FFF, IGRT, Stereotactic, and protons.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Leadership and management skills, with experience of supervising and motivating a team.
