**Job Description:** As a highly respected Sr. Scientist, you will provide expert advice and guidance to the Department on science and evidence-based policy decisions. You will work closely with senior officials to develop and implement effective policies that promote environmental protection and rural prosperity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of science and policy principles and be able to communicate complex information effectively to various audiences. You'll also need to build strong relationships with stakeholders and think strategically and analytically.

**Salary Information:** The salary range is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

**Location:** The role is based in the UK, with opportunities for remote work. You will be required to travel occasionally to meet with stakeholders and attend meetings.
