Fideuram Asset Management UK Limited is a subsidiary of Fideuram Asset Management Ireland DAC, a UCITS Management Company based in Dublin managing assets worth approximately 40 bln Euro with over 170 sub funds. The company is located in London and is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority to manage and advise on investments for its clients. It manages over 5 bln Euro in assets and oversees an additional large-scale portfolio of third-party managers' mandates.

Job Summary

This is an associate portfolio management role focused on a range of multi-asset funds. The successful candidate will support the senior portfolio management team at the desk.

  • Development and implementation of strategy, investment process and portfolio construction for multi-asset portfolios
  • Performing macroeconomic and markets research under the supervision of the senior portfolio management team
  • Interacting with internal peers and external counterparties, including for idea generation and broad macroeconomic research purposes
  • Developing and maintaining portfolio management and research dashboards for portfolios under responsibility
  • Supporting day-to-day portfolio management activities, including in relation to overseeing daily cash flows, controlling portfolio exposures, adhering to risk limits, managing FX, derivatives and hedges
  • Presenting before colleagues and formal committees, including in relation to strategy, performance and outlook
  • Preparing regular reports and presentations, as well as supporting sales groups and distribution networks as required
  • Interacting and coordinating with other asset allocation investment hubs within the group
  • Coordinating regularly with the Multi Manager team for third party fund selection
Requirements
  • Up to 5 years of investment experience managing multi asset portfolios. Candidates with relevant broader investment experience looking to join a multi-asset desk will also be considered
  • Expertise in macroeconomic research with a focus on global equities
  • Experience with financial derivatives in a portfolio management context
Competencies and Qualifications
  • Minimum undergraduate degree with strong academic record. Professional designations such as CFA, CAIA, or equivalent may be beneficial
  • Competencies in asset allocation, strategy research and portfolio construction
  • Exceptional understanding of markets and financial instruments as building blocks for investments solutions
  • Knowledge in advanced risk management frameworks as applied to multi asset portfolios
  • Skilled in asset allocation, strategy research and portfolio construction
  • Deep understanding of markets and financial instruments as building blocks for investments solutions
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office suite-packages. Python programming knowledge and familiarity with the Aladdin system may be beneficial
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluent Italian may be beneficial
  • Ability to cooperate with multi manager teams for third party fund selection
