Project Manager Opportunity
Location: UK
Lanesra Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our client's team in the Anaerobic Digestion and Biomethane sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering multiple multi-year contracts and projects in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Supervision: Ensure the Principal Contractor complies with program, contract, cost, quality, and SHEQ requirements.
- CDM Regulations: Ensure the Principal Contractor proactively discharges their duties under the Construction Design & Management (CDM) regulations.
- Site Safety: Conduct regular site safety walks, control site access, and ensure all applicable technical specifications are met.
- Project Delivery: Drive a culture of zero accidents and zero defects, meet delivery milestones, and provide the best service.
- Cost Management: Adopt and maintain cost-conscious management through efficient use of resources.
- Program Management: Prepare, review, and update realistic scheme programs, ensuring all stakeholders complete work on schedule.
- Site Coordination: Chair and attend site coordination meetings, review compliance of mandatory documentation, and manage collaborative planning meetings.
- Project Engineering: Represent the Project Engineer on site, maintain records of site progress, and drive efficiencies and improvements.
- Risk Management: Work with the Technical Manager and Engineering Project Engineers to proactively manage risks and issues.
- Experience: Engineering, project delivery, and construction site experience in energy from waste, anaerobic digestion, biogas, or water/waste treatment projects.
- Supervisory/Management Experience: Supervisory/management experience in a construction environment.
- CDM Regulations: Strong understanding of CDM Regulations.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Qualifications: Qualification in an engineering/construction discipline.
- Certifications: SMSTS/SSSTS/CSCS, NEBOSH, IOSH, and Microsoft Project and collaborative planning tools.
