The Animal and Plant Health Agency is seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Post-Mortem Analyst to join our team. In this exciting role, you will provide critical support for the examination of large animals and poultry, including sampling and humane euthanasia.

About the role:

  • Providing support for the ante and post-mortem examination of large animals and poultry
  • Sampling and humane euthanasia of livestock using appropriate methods
  • Assisting with the location/sampling of tissues as required by experimental protocols

Key skills:

  • Experience in scientific environments
  • Dissection/anatomy skills
  • Ability to use common software applications
  • BTEC HNC/BSc degree or equivalent technical qualifications in biological/biomedical/bioveterinary science

Salary: £32,220
