As the firm continues to expand, it is seeking a skilled Costs Negotiator to join their team of specialists. This role will involve managing a caseload while working closely with a team of cost experts.

Key responsibilities include drafting points of dispute, negotiating settlements, reviewing case files, and providing cost-related guidance to lawyers.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in a costs negotiation role, confidently managing a caseload.
  • Thorough knowledge of costs law and the Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Skilled in negotiating costs, drafting points of dispute, handling replies, and advancing cases to Provisional and Detailed Assessments.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and handle a varied caseload.
  • Effective in both independent work and collaborative team settings.
  • Strong legal insight and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

Salary Information:

We offer a competitive salary up to £35,000, based on experience, making this an attractive opportunity for those looking to advance their careers in costs negotiation.
