About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Trainer to join our Learning and Development team at Sense Scotland, which delivers vital support to vulnerable individuals in Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training, assessing competence, and coaching colleagues across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging face-to-face and virtual training sessions using Microsoft Teams to ensure staff develop highly skilled professionals who meet the needs of those we support.
  • Assess competence and coach new and existing colleagues to nurture long-term relationships and support their continuing professional development.
Requirements:
  • A minimum SCQF 7 qualification in a care-related subject or registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
  • Experience in training within a health or social care setting is essential.
  • Working knowledge of current training and qualification requirements is crucial.
  • Confident IT skills and ability to work flexibly across Scotland are also required.
