Scenic Workshop Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scenic Workshop Manager to lead our scenic operations team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality scenic products on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the scenic workshop team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Oversee the construction and preparation of scenic elements, including sets, props, and special effects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Maintain inventory and manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Provide input on construction design and material specifications, collaborating with the Head of Scenic to ensure project goals are met.
- Hands-on involvement in the construction of scenic products, demonstrating expertise and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet overall business needs, ensuring seamless project execution.

- Minimum 5 years' experience in scenic construction, with a strong understanding of materials and techniques.
- Excellent carpentry skills and knowledge of various materials, including wood, metal, and fabric.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and CAD plans, ensuring accurate project execution.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality, ensuring high-quality scenic products.
- Ability to plan and prioritize multiple projects, managing time and resources effectively.
- Creative problem-solving skills, thinking outside the box to overcome challenges.
- Flexibility and a customer-focused attitude, prioritizing customer satisfaction and needs.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and HSE regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Experience with CNC machines and 3D printing, a plus in this role.
