Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

* A leading plastic product manufacturer in Winsford, Cheshire, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a 3 shift pattern.

* The successful candidate will be responsible for providing full maintenance support to the business, ensuring minimum production losses, and conforming to all statutory legislation for maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough fault finding on industrial machinery to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  2. Collaborate with the team to monitor, maintain, and improve the efficiency and productivity of employees, operations, and equipment.
  3. Develop and implement effective maintenance reporting systems to ensure accurate tracking and analysis of maintenance activities.
  4. Investigate and report accidents and incidents, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  5. Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the facility.

Requirements:

* HNC or equivalent in a relevant field, such as mechanical or electrical engineering.

* Proven experience in preventative and predictive maintenance, with a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical disciplines.

* Familiarity with moulding and hydraulic systems is highly desirable.

* The ideal candidate will be a multi-skilled professional with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Location:

This position is commutable from Moulton, Whitegate, Middlewich, and Little Budworth.
