Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant - SEMH Support

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with students with Autism Spectrum Condition, Specific Learning Disability, and medical needs in a fantastic school located in Wisbech and surrounding areas.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work under the guidance of the classroom teacher, helping and supporting the teacher and working in small groups with children who have Specific Learning Disability, Physical Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Condition, and medical needs.

You will be required to tailor your approach to suit the needs of children with needs. The ideal candidate will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with at least six months experience in UK Schools
  • A child-centred approach
  • Conscientious and always
  • Experience with Special Educational Needs
  • A consistent approach to challenging behaviour
