About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technician for Fleet and Equipment Services to join our client's team on a 6-month contract with the potential for extension. As part of this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the inspection, servicing, modification, maintenance, and repair of Client Vehicles and supporting equipment meet manufacturers' specifications.

This includes completing all associated documentation and ensuring a 24-hour availability of vehicles. You will work closely with other trades within Fleet & Engineering services, providing assistance where your skill set is applicable.

Responsibilities also include conducting PSV/MOT inspections, repairing bodywork, and performing welding repairs using various techniques. You will also be responsible for hydraulic repairs and possess a strong understanding of electrical and electronic circuits.

We are looking for someone with a certified level 2 trade qualification in Vehicle Mechanic studies and at least two years of experience working in a trade role. Excellent record-keeping and communication skills, as well as a strong customer focus, are also essential.
