About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our Inpatient Frailty Team at the Countess of Chester Hospital.



Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing rehabilitation services to patients in Pinetum Nursing Home.


The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Therapy Assistant and Discharge Co-ordinator to achieve timely and safe discharges, whilst ensuring patients receive the necessary therapy provision to enhance their function.



Main Responsibilities


  • To assess and treat patients, prioritising those who require urgent attention.
  • To supervise and educate more junior staff members, promoting their development and growth within the team.
  • To work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) managing a caseload of patients.
  • To contribute to service development, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes that benefit patients and staff alike.
  • To take responsibility for own learning and professional development, seeking opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Salary The salary range for this role is £35,717 - £42,282 per annum.
