Reception Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Reception Teacher to join our team at a wonderful two-form entry school in Southwark. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing daily lesson plans that reflect the school's curriculum and focus on individual learning needs of Reception students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Reception-aged children.
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment that fosters a love of learning.
  • Ensure that diversity within the classroom is embraced and supported.
  • Communicate regularly with the school leadership team regarding lesson plans, assessments, and student progress.
  • Embed the school's core philosophies, values, and expectations into the curriculum.
Requirements:
  • QTS, EYTS, or PGCE with a strong academic record.
  • Experience in teaching in a primary school, preferably in Reception.
  • A relevant bachelor's degree in education.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience teaching Reception-aged children.
  • A thorough knowledge of the early years curriculum and the ability to plan, deliver, and assess effective lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with children, parents/carers, and staff.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to continuous professional development.
What We Offer:
