Reception Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reception Teacher to join our primary school in Enfield, North London, on a 2-term maternity cover starting in January 2025. As a Reception Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of young children and contributing to their social, emotional, and academic development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, fostering children's curiosity and learning.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of each child.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure individual learning plans are in place and delivered effectively.
  • Regularly assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed, and maintain open communication with parents and carers about their child's development.
Requirements:
  • Qualified teachers with QTS and experience teaching in Reception or Early Years.
  • Creative, patient, and enthusiastic educators with a passion for early childhood education.
