We are seeking an experienced and talented professional to join our growing team as an Associate Director in the Rail sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading Waterman Rail projects, including planning and management of scope, cost, quality, risk, safety, health, and environment issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading cross-discipline project teams and building team capability and stakeholder confidence.
  • Managing the flow of information between the Waterman teams, client, and stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, including the use of KPIs to improve project performance.
  • Managing the change control process and ensuring the production of formal progress and other reports to project directorate and management.
  • Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects.

Requirements include:

  • B.Eng in engineering or equivalent.
  • Preferred qualifications: C.Eng/MIStructE- Chartered status.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Familiarity with Network Rail, TfL, and other key client delivery processes and requirements.
  • Project management qualifications.
  • Significant experience in the UK Rail sector in a particular engineering discipline or multidisciplinary rail projects.
