Tobacco Dependence Treatment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Tobacco Dependence Treatment Specialist to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering tobacco dependence treatment to patients and clients in clinical and community settings across Lambeth.
Main Responsibilities- Provide tobacco dependence treatment to patients and clients in clinical and community settings.
- Set up tobacco dependence treatment clinics in workplace settings.
- Provide training and support to Local Authority commissioned pharmacies that provide smoking cessation support.
- Participate in local outreach campaigns and community events.
- Contribute to innovation for taking tobacco dependence treatment to communities that are currently under-represented in our service.
- Experience of working within the field of smoking cessation or significant experience or equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline.
- Experience of setting up Tobacco Dependence Treatment Clinics.
- Experience of running workplace based smoking cessation clinics.
- An ability to understand and interpret national public health policies and apply them at a local level.
