VP Forensic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in the Great Yarmouth area.

We provide essential care and support to individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries and Complex Behaviours, empowering them to achieve their rehabilitation goals and live fulfilling lives.

Your Role
  • Deliver personalized care and support tailored to each client's unique needs and aspirations.
  • Assist clients in working towards their rehabilitation and development objectives, fostering independence and growth.
  • Provide physical assistance with daily living tasks, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities and community outings, promoting social interaction and well-being.
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Manage challenging behaviours and risks proactively, maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Your Qualifications
  • Genuine empathy, patience, and a caring nature are essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others.
  • Experience supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries and Complex Behaviours, or a related care background demonstrating relevant knowledge and skills.
  • Full working rights in the UK (VP Forensic does not offer sponsorship).

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.00, plus holiday pay and pension contributions.
  • Referral bonus program: Earn £200 for referring a Support Worker and £300 for an RMN/RNLD.

All successful candidates will require an enhanced DBS check (if not already registered on the update service) and two satisfactory references.
