Role Overview

This Rebuild/Repair Engineer position is ideal for those with a passion for working with heavy equipment and machinery. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of different machines and develop your skills and expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake inspections of machines to determine required repair or replacement work
  • Carry out diagnostic tests on machine components to assess condition and warranty agreements
  • Produce detailed lists of parts and materials needed for proposed work
  • Overhaul, repair, or refurbish machines according to agreed plans
  • Inspect and test completed machines to ensure they meet expected performance levels

Skills and Requirements

  • Preferably with background in plant machinery or similar industries
  • Either apprentice-trained or minimum 5 years experience in quality service environment
  • Licence to drive reach trucks required
  • Practical experience operating construction equipment and mechanical fitting work on large-scale machines
