Job Title: Technical Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join our team at Crest Nicholson plc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for making a profit by acquiring land and planning, designing, constructing and selling dwellings, in accordance with the operating policies and controls of the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist and co-operate with the Land Department in the investigation and acquisition of development sites.
  • To be responsible for the preparation of detailed constructional drawings, the negotiation and securing of technical and statutory approvals to achieve the optimum timing programmes.
  • To be responsible for identifying and resolving technical design and constructional problems.
  • To assist in the supervision and administration of the Company Technical function.

Essential Qualifications/Attributes:

  • Strong Technical knowledge base from a Technical Design background of either architectural or civil engineering.
  • Educated to HNC / HND in a construction related qualification.
  • Knowledge of the housebuilding industry preferably gained with a high volume house builder.
  • Exposure to mix use/commercial schemes.
  • Experience in concrete steel and traditional masonry build.
