Reservations and Guest Services Representative

As a key member of the Ashdown Park Hotel team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring seamless reservations and booking experiences for our valued customers.

You will be the first point of contact for guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in managing reservations, room allocations, and guest communications.

Working closely with the reception team and conference office, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, updating databases, and providing administrative support as required.

Key to your success will be your ability to provide personalized service, promote hotel facilities and services, and maintain a high level of knowledge about our competitor's offerings and special promotions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional guest service and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage reservations, room allocations, and guest communications with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with the reception team and conference office to ensure seamless operations
  • Update databases and maintain accurate records
  • Provide administrative support as required
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel facilities, services, and competitor offerings

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role or hotel environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in IT systems and software
  • Ability to work a rotational shift schedule, including weekends
