Reservations and Guest Services Representative

As a key member of the Ashdown Park Hotel team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring seamless reservations and front desk operations.

You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling sales enquiries via telephone or email, and providing a high level of service to exceed expectations. Utilizing our Property Management System, Opera, you will efficiently manage guest room bookings and dinner reservations, while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage reservations and front desk operations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the reception team and conference office to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Stay knowledgeable about Ashdown Park Hotel's facilities and services, promoting and recommending them to guests to maximize sales and revenue.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hotel standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or a passion for learning and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with proficiency in using Property Management Systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work a rotational Saturday/Sunday schedule, ensuring 7-day coverage.
