Engineer for Precision Systems

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer for Precision Systems to join our team at MDS. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting cutting-edge systems in gas turbine engine test facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience working with electronics, instrumentation, and/or control systems. They should possess a deep understanding of calibration and measurement systems and have prior experience in conducting root cause analysis and dealing with measurement uncertainty within the calibration process.
As an Engineer for Precision Systems, you will play a pivotal role in providing top-notch customer support while leading issue resolution and mitigating technical risks. You will also oversee, supervise, and consistently enhance adherence to ISO accreditation, focusing on the technical proficiency of the calibration process.
This is a full-time permanent role based in Derby, UK, with a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a bonus program, medical benefits, and a generous pension program.
