Owen Daniels is a leading provider of precision calibration services, seeking an experienced and skilled Precision Calibration Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in engineering, particularly within the aerospace industry. As a Precision Calibration Manager, you will be responsible for calibrating measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to both ISO9001 and UKAS standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in calibrating complex dimensional measuring equipment, including autocollimators, first principles, parallels, and cylindrical squares.
  • Develop and implement quality systems in line with 17025 standards.
  • Train junior employees on calibration procedures and quality systems.
  • Maintain excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams and external customers.
  • Certification to UKAS standards is preferred.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in calibration, preferably within the aerospace industry.
  • Proven track record of implementing quality systems and training junior employees.
  • Strong understanding of ISO9001 and UKAS standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
