Our Services

We offer a range of services, including Safeguarded Pension Transfers, at-retirement advice, high earner pension tax planning, and other complex areas of pension planning. Our Specialist Pension Consultant will work closely with our clients to provide expert advice and support.

Role and Responsibilities
  1. Assist in growing our business by acting as a Pension Transfer Specialist for Safeguarded Pension Transfers.
  2. Work alongside our part-time resource to provide pro-active input and sign-off for complex pensions relating to at-retirement services and high earner pension tax planning.
  3. Support our management team in maintaining high standards of compliance and controlling risk.
  4. Interrogate Scheme Specifications to ensure we have all the information needed to set up scheme templates within the FinCalc TVAS system.
  5. Set up scheme templates and run test calculations to ensure our projections are in line with those provided by the scheme.
  6. Interrogate data to be provided for members of schemes seeking advice to ensure we will be receiving all the information needed to produce an accurate TVAS.
Experience and Competencies Required
  1. CII G60 or AF3 examinations essential, plus a commitment to study for the new CII pension transfer exam AF7.
  2. Good IT-based experience, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  3. Project Management, including use of either MS Project, Excel, and Smart Office.
  4. The ability to think objectively and make important decisions that positively impact client financial decisions.
  5. Excellent organisational and management skills.
  6. Organised and thorough, with great attention to detail.
  7. Strong influencing skills.
  8. Excellent negotiating skills.
  9. Commercial awareness and sound judgement.
  10. At least 10 years of experience in pensions.
  11. Past experience in dealing with Defined Benefit transfers, high earner pension issues, and Pension Freedoms.
