Job Overview

The IPS Group is seeking an ambitious Catastrophe analyst to join a new and unique unit within their global (Re)Insurer business.

This exciting opportunity involves providing analytics to support the planned expansion of this new business unit, working across multiple lines including Property and Terrorism. Collaborating closely with Modelling Lead and Underwriting teams, you will also have significant exposure to Research & Development teams and external distribution partners to enhance the business' view of risk.

To be successful in this position:

  • A minimum of experience using a recognised vendor model (Verisk/AIR preferable) is required.
  • Techincal proficiency in SQL, Python, R programming languages is highly advantageous.
  • You should be comfortable communicating analytics with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Estimated salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum. Benefits include professional development opportunities and a collaborative work environment.
