Assistant Shop Manager

Birley Bakery, a prestigious establishment from entrepreneur Robin Birley, owner of 5 Hertford Street, is seeking a skilled Assistant Shop Manager to join their team. This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a warm and welcoming environment, inspired by the classic concept of Boulangerie-Patisserie.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a retail environment and supervising a team. A friendly, approachable attitude is essential to provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards in the shop.
The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including 28 days holiday per year, birthday day off, discounted gym membership, and private medical insurance. The Assistant Shop Manager will also have access to in-house industry training, sponsored social events, and a recommend a friend bonus of £750.
The responsibilities of the Assistant Shop Manager include assisting the Shop Manager to maximise sales and service levels, implementing company policies and procedures, and leading by example to ensure high standards of customer service are maintained.
