We are now seeking an exceptional candidate for the role of Academy Secretary FTC. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive administrative support for player, team, and match administration, as well as assist the Football Administration Department as required.

The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • To ensure effective administrative arrangements are in place for the club to demonstrate compliance with externally applied rules and regulations.
  • Act as lead administrator for all age groups, including fixture details, transport coordination, and parental communication.
  • Process scholarship registrations for U18 players, including incoming and outgoing trialists.
  • Liaise with the Academy Management Team regarding Academy fixture details.
  • Be the point of contact for parents regarding any age group queries and maintain all player files.
  • Ensure the system always reflects up-to-date and correct information and make regular amendments when necessary.
  • Display and record fixtures correctly or remove them as needed.
  • Communicate all Academy activities via email or schedules with parents.
  • Manage registrations for all players (U9 to U19) with Youth Development forms or as appropriate.
  • Ensure trialists are correctly registered and complete required documentation for international clearance data.
  • Provide each trialist with the relevant induction pack before their trial period commences.
  • Coordinate the end-of-season procedure for all development phases in liaison with the Academy Management Team.
  • Organize and communicate player review evenings, end-of-season celebration events, and other scheduled club events.
  • Maintain knowledge of current legislation and policies, communicating key changes to staff as needed.
Requirements
  • Possess exceptional organization and communication skills.
  • Proficient in IT, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Effective time management and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of Youth Development Rules.
  • Drive high standards and challenge constructively.
  • Cope with adversity with a positive attitude and adaptability.
  • Hold enhanced DBS clearance.
