Job Title: RFP Writer

Mayford James is seeking a skilled RFP Writer to join their London-based RFP Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality requests for proposals (RFPs) and due diligence questionnaires that showcase the firm's investment capabilities and contribute to the company's asset gathering success.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop compelling RFPs and due diligence questionnaires that accurately reflect the firm's investment capabilities and showcase its expertise in various asset classes.
  • Write, review, and edit new business-related content, including providing ad-hoc data to address ongoing enquiries from prospective and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to maximize efficiencies and explore new solutions for managing and delivering RFP best practice.
  • Manage the team's workflow and ensure the pipeline of ongoing RFPs and due diligence questionnaires is accurately updated and maintained.
  • Ensure all RFPs and due diligence questionnaires receive appropriate signoffs prior to issuance.
  • Develop close business relationships and credibility with internal stakeholders and local experts across global offices and affiliated businesses.
  • Adhere to procedures, including compliance and other regulatory processes.
Requirements:
  • Prior asset management experience, ideally in an RFP role or a support function such as client reporting or operations.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of investment asset classes, products, and interest in capital markets.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure all materials are accurate, compliant, and relevant procedures are followed.
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong team orientation and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a highly organized and agile way.
  • Additional European languages, particularly French, would be a distinct advantage.
