About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Food Manager to join our team at Sainsbury's. As a Food Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of our in-store food department, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a medium to large in-store team, assigning tasks and planning breaks, creating rotas, and addressing performance issues.
- Work closely with the Lead Food Manager to deliver improved customer and retail outcomes in your area.
- Provide a brilliant handover from each shift to the next, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Confidently give honest feedback to your team, helping them to develop and improve.
- Help your team to put themselves in the customers' shoes, taking genuine pride in how we deliver a better service.
