Food Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Manager to join our team at Sainsbury's. As a Food Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets in the grocery department.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the grocery department, including stock management, rotas, and performance monitoring
- Develop and implement plans to improve customer satisfaction and sales performance
- Work closely with the Lead Food Manager to achieve business objectives and support the store management team
- Recruit, train, and develop colleagues to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent customer service
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering results and improving customer satisfaction
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to achieving sales targets
