Overview
Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Consultant Practitioner in Neurodevelopmental Services. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality psychological services for children and young people (CYP) with neurodevelopmental conditions.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to work with our multidisciplinary team, contributing to the development of innovative and effective services that meet the needs of CYP and their families.
About the Role
The Consultant Practitioner in Neurodevelopmental Services will be responsible for providing highly specialist psychological practice, governance of psychological practice across neurodevelopmental services, clinical, strategic, and professional leadership of CYP Autism and associated neurodevelopmental services. The postholder will also contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of CYP and their families, working collaboratively with other professionals to develop and deliver exceptional services.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
- Post-registration training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice
- Experience of working therapeutically with CYP with ASC, ADHD, and learning disabilities
- Ability to demonstrate leadership and management skills, with a passion for developing psychologically informed services for CYP
