Job Description:
Think Recruitment are currently looking for a skilled Senior Building Manager based in Stafford to support the head of services in delivering planned major works projects, ensuring compliance with contracts and health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will take the lead on projects, independently managing contractors and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in developing, designing, procuring, and administering projects from start to completion. They will provide expert insights on residential building, group properties, and recommending effective ways to project assets.

Duties will include:

Requirements:
The successful candidate will be professionally qualified or have a Building Surveyor qualification in a construction-related discipline, with 3 years' PQE (essential). MRICS/MCIOB preferred with evidence of CPD (essential). Experience in building surveying and complex defect diagnosis within domestic buildings is also required. Knowledge of environmental and property legislation, focusing on housing, is essential.

The role offers a salary of approximately £55,000 per annum, plus benefits including pension, 25 days holiday allowance, and a van/fuel card. The working hours are 40 hours per week, with a call-out rota of 1 in 4.
