Job Title: Adults Learning Disability Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adults Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic care and support to adults with learning disabilities, enabling them to live as independently as possible.

About the Role:

You will be working in a supported living service in Llantristant, providing assistance to residents with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, or sensory impairments. Your role will involve observing, monitoring, and keeping records of patient conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapeutic care and support to adults with learning disabilities
  • Assist residents with their daily needs, promoting independence and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with a team of multi-professionals to ensure high-quality care
  • Monitor and record patient conditions, reporting any concerns to the relevant authorities
Requirements:
  • Desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
  • Full UK driving license
  • At least 6 months' experience working in a social care setting
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK
