Lumentum is a leading manufacturer of innovative optical and photonic products. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support to our Manufacturing and Process Engineering groups within the Wafer Fab at our Caswell site.

Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering and experience within a high-tech manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first-line response for all equipment issues on the Continental shift pattern.
  • Repair and preventative maintenance of specialist semiconductor processing equipment.
  • Overseeing chemical, gases, and spare parts control, as well as chemical fills and waste management.
  • Liaising with equipment and spares suppliers, as well as specialist service providers.
  • Supporting activities to deliver preventative maintenance strategies and maximise equipment utilisation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree in an electrical engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience within a high-tech manufacturing environment, such as Pharmaceuticals, Aerospace, Automotive, or Motorsports.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures without close supervision.
  • Good time-management and organisational skills.
