**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Petit Forestier UK Limited. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing our company's credit risk and ensuring timely payments from our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review customer financial health and identify potential risks
- Minimize the risk of loss by ensuring payments are received on time
- Collect debts in a timely and professional manner
- Set and monitor key performance indicators to measure credit control effectiveness
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, sales teams, and customers
- Administer new account applications, including credit checks and setting up accounts on our system
- Identify and escalate potential risks to the Credit Manager
- Work with the Credit Manager to develop credit control tools and processes
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as requested by senior team members
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in credit control in a B2B environment
- Excellent operating knowledge of accounting software packages
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and email packages
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proven track record in managing complex accounts and debt reduction
