We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
As a key member of our primary care service, you will work closely with clients, carers, and other professionals to provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological therapies.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and support individuals with common mental health problems, promoting self-management and recovery.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, incorporating NICE-compliant interventions and group therapies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, carers, and other professionals, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a stepped care approach, ensuring timely access to services.
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings, sharing expertise and best practices.
We are looking for an experienced and qualified professional with a strong background in mental health, preferably with a Post Graduate Certificate or Level 3 undergraduate course in Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Training.
Essential qualifications and experience include:
- Qualification from PWP Training Course or equivalent.
- Evidence of working with people who have experienced mental health problems.
- Demonstrated high standards in written communication.
- Experience of working in Primary Care Services.
