At Meredith Brown Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Investment Associate to join our team.
Role and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the manager research effort across a broad range of asset classes, undertaking rigorous detailed research, and generating and maintaining a rich and deep set of recommendations.
- Conduct in-depth research to identify outperforming investment strategies, products, and managers.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of risk and return drivers of own asset class and incorporate this within manager research and portfolio management processes.
- Collaborate with the investment team to design and oversee derivative overlay strategies.
- Research and generate tactical asset allocation ideas and attend client meetings to report on investment performance and discuss investment strategy.
- Provide monthly commentary and attend client-facing activities and/or presentations.
- Conduct asset manager due diligence and monitoring.
We are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience of working within an analytically focussed role within the asset management industry, ideally with experience of multi-asset strategies.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with an active interest in investment and capital markets.
- A graduated with a 1st class or 2:1 degree from a leading university and ideally studying towards CFA or CAIA qualifications.
- Strong numerical and system skills, with a particular focus on Excel.
- Able to work within a rigorous investment process.
- A genuine passion for developing your career within the investment arena.
