About the Role

As a Senior UX Strategist, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end design process, from initial planning to product design and polished visuals across your product area. You will ensure that the customer voice and product vision are embedded across your work, and that work is prioritized with trade-offs recommended based on customer and business value.

  • Own the design process, from planning to delivery.
  • Ensure customer and business value are embedded in design decisions.
  • Work closely with design leadership and other team members to remove roadblocks and inform decision-making.
  • Manage project requirements and tasks across your product area.
  • Collaborate with design team counterparts across Reuters Digital products.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Partner with Research, Product, and Engineering teams to drive clarity in product needs.
  • Articulate a compelling vision for customers across your product line.
  • Create and facilitate integrated design decisions and solutions.

About You

To be our Senior UX Strategist, you will likely have:

  • 8+ years of application/product design experience.
  • 2+ years in a lead role.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in UX/HCI or related field, or significant equivalent experience.
  • A thorough understanding of UX & Accessibility best practices, UXR methods, service design, and design systems.
  • Confident in facilitating UX and design thinking-led workshops for key stakeholders.
  • Experience working with design systems, design tokens, and atomic design principles.
  • A robust portfolio of previous product design work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of the importance of teamwork.
  • A willingness to grow with the role.
