Your Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in shaping our exciting projects and contributing to the success of our clients.

As a Senior Civil Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a team to undertake technical design work, ensuring high-quality levels and adherence to relevant design standards and codes. You will also work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team to undertake technical design work, ensuring high-quality levels and adherence to relevant design standards and codes.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
  • Sound knowledge in design and analysis of heavy concrete and steel structures, and familiarity with current design standards and working practices, both British Standards and American codes.
  • Proficiency in designing with appropriate structural analysis packages.
  • Experience in the nuclear sector, particularly in the design and implementation of safety-related structures, systems and components (strongly preferred, but dependent on level of overall experience).
