Operations Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Operations to lead our clients company's daily operations and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, implementing operational policies, and overseeing all aspects of the company's growth.
The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the construction industry and ideally will have some experience in window manufacturing. They must be ambitious, able to make decisions, and have strong people management skills.
The Director of Operations will be commercially aware and have a basic understanding of the various types of contracts used in the construction industry.
Duties and Responsibilities- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Manage and supervise operational staff to ensure quality standards are met.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and achieve company goals.
- Lead and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Proven experience in managing operations in a similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound decision-making skills with a strategic mindset.
- Knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, and performance evaluation would be ideal.
