Technical Waste Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Waste Assessor to join our team at a leading waste management company in Merseyside. As a Technical Waste Assessor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the correct classification and management of waste, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:- Classify and manage waste in accordance with site procedures and regulations
- Conduct site visits to assess waste and ensure compliance with permits and licenses
- Log and record all necessary information for quoting, transport, and acceptance
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and effective waste management
- Provide expert advice on waste transport, labelling, and consignment note requirements
- Assist in maintaining and controlling site management systems, including document control and data preparation
- Degree or HNC in chemistry or a related field
- Knowledge of waste-related legislation, including Hazardous Waste Regulations, PPC, TFS, and ADR is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Committed, flexible, and pragmatic team player
- Professional approach with a positive attitude
