Exhibition Sales Professional

Our client, a leading media and events company, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their Exhibitions team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing leads and potential customers, developing leads through cold call telemarketing, negotiating and presenting solutions to key decision makers, and attending relevant networking opportunities and events.
About the Role
- Develop and manage accounts from within the events, exhibitions, advertising, or media sales sector.
- Utilize a solid understanding of the sales process to drive sales forward.
- Negotiate and present solutions to key decision makers both over the phone, remotely, and face-to-face.
- Attend relevant networking opportunities and events to expand the client's network.
About the Candidate
- The ideal candidate will have experience and a strong track record of developing new business and managing accounts from within the events, exhibitions, advertising, or media sales sector.
- They will require a solid understanding of the sales process, high activity rates, and the ability to cold call, close deals over the phone, Zoom, and face-to-face.
- The candidate will be naturally creative, commercially aware, motivated, and enthusiastic with an ethical approach to sales.
- They will have the tenacity to drive sales forward and a real desire to work in the exhibition sales sector.
