About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a Band 7 position, working within Acute Stroke and Neuro Rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6-12 months of NHS experience within Stroke and Neuro Rehabilitation, preferably in an acute setting, but strong candidates with community experience may be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients with stroke and neuro rehabilitation needs.
  2. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments and interventions to promote patient independence and functional ability.

Requirements:

  • Hold an Occupational Therapy degree (MSc or BSc) and full HCPC registration.
  • Be available to commence the role within a maximum of 2 weeks from confirmation and commit to a minimum period of three months.
