We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radiological Safety Assessor to work on a contract basis in Warrington.
This 12-month assignment requires a professional with expertise in radiological safety assessments, specifically in the preparation, review, and support of due process for Radiological HAZANs, Operational Safety Memoranda (OSM), and Design Safety Memoranda (DSM).
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Science or Engineering and senior-grade experience as a Safety Assessor in a nuclear or high-hazard environment. Additionally, they must be able to work independently and produce assessments with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing safety case documentation, such as PICSR, PACSR, Safety Case Summary, and OSMs to support PMPs.
- Oversight and verification of construction crane assessments.
- Engagement with INSA and attendance at Regulatory Engagement Meetings.
The successful candidate will also possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
In return, you can expect a competitive salary, estimated to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients.
Please note that this role is classified as Inside IR35.
