Procurement Manager Job Description

Insight Investment is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join its Vendor Management team in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, and driving improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Head of Sourcing & Third-Party Management to design and implement procurement strategies that align with Insight's goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, subject matter experts, and legal teams.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, renewals, contract negotiation, and supplier onboarding, ensuring due diligence and compliance.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sourcing reports, dashboards, and spend analysis to senior management, identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all business transactions align with BNY/Insight policies, procedures, legal requirements, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
  • Experience: Proven experience working in a controlled environment, with a strong understanding of procurement and sourcing processes and practices in the financial sector.
  • Skills: Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Demonstrated ability to achieve cost savings and add value through strategic sourcing initiatives.
