We are seeking a skilled interpreter and translator to join our team at Language Empire. As a freelance interpreter, you will work with various clients across the UK, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organizations.
As a professional interpreter and translator, you will be responsible for listening to, understanding, and reproducing speech in the target language with 100% accuracy. You will interpret for people using legal, health, and local government services, and liaise between the service user and service provider.
Requirements for this role include:
- Fluent in English and another language
- All applicants must have the right to work in the UK
- You must be aged 21 or over
- Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
