Cumbrian Language Expert

We are seeking a qualified freelancer to provide interpreting and translation services to public and private organisations across the UK.

As a freelancer, you will be responsible for interpreting for individuals using legal, health, and local government services. This will involve listening to, understanding, and reproducing speech into the target language with 100% accuracy.

You will also be required to check the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence and liaise between the service user and service provider.

Requirements for the role include fluency in English and another language, the right to work in the UK, and formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages.
