Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Night Team Member to join our team at The Met Hotel Leeds. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, and maintaining the highest standards of hotel cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly
  • Process guest arrivals and departures, handling check-in and check-out procedures with accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with food and beverage service, including serving guests from our 24/7 menu
  • Conduct security patrols to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests
  • Complete the reception shift, balancing the day's business and running the night audit process
  • Process card payments, charges, and banking reconciliation
  • Assist guests with their forward travel plans and make reservations as required
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and approachable demeanor
  • Ability to work well on your own and as part of a team, using your own initiative and discretion
  • Good command of the English language, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues
  • Previous experience in guest-facing roles, with a strong understanding of hotel operations and procedures
  • Ability to work well in a calm and busy environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Good standard of numeracy, with the ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
